Bacon-Wrapped Goat Cheese Stuffed Dates For the Soul

If you want someone to marry you my goodness just make this delicious treat for them! I seriously cannot stress enough how incredible these dates dressed up are. If you're like me and you don't eat dairy or gluten these are perfect for you!

But wait, I know what you're thinking, "how can they be dairy free when they have goat cheese in them?" Well technically they're not dairy free. Goat cheese is A2 dairy rather than traditional cows milk and cheese being A1. A2 dairy doesn't cause inflammation and hormone imbalance like A1 dairy. I will attach an article below.

They're also easy to make! This is all you'll need:

  • Natural Goat Cheese

  • Pitted Medjool Dates

  • Uncured Natural Bacon

  • Red Onion

  • Balsamic Glaze

  • Salt/Pepper

Now to make them all you'll need to do is:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cut the dates in half.

  3. Chop your onion into small pieces.

  4. In a bowl, mix the goat cheese and chopped onion.

  5. Fill one half of the pitted date with the mixture, and top with the other half of the date.

  6. Wrap each goat cheese stuffed date with your bacon. It's ok if you have to cut the bacon to make them shorter.

  7. Place on your baking sheet.

  8. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

  9. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  10. Place in the oven until the bacon is to your desired crisping. Mine usually stays in 12-15 minutes or so.

  11. Enjoy!
